Privacy Policy

Draft: this policy describes how the site works today. It hasn't been reviewed by a lawyer yet and will be finalized before Career Coach officially launches. Last updated September 24, 2026.

What stays in your browser

Your profile (year, major, goals, and so on), your AI Career Coach conversations, your saved roadmap and checklist progress, and your saved jobs are stored in your browser's local storage on your device. They are not sent to or stored on Career Coach's servers. Clearing your browser data deletes them, and they won't follow you to another device.

What you send us

• Forms. When you submit the request form or the contact form, what you enter (such as your name, email, and message) is emailed to the Career Coach team so a person can follow up. We use an email delivery service (Resend) to send it.
• AI tools. When you use the AI Career Coach, AI resume feedback, the cover letter writer, case or interview practice, or the roadmap builder, the text you enter and your profile are sent to an AI model running on Cloudflare Workers AI to generate a response. Career Coach doesn't keep a copy of these conversations.
• Instant resume check. The instant (non-AI) resume check runs entirely in your browser. Nothing is sent anywhere.

What we don't do

• We don't sell or rent your personal information.
• We don't use advertising trackers.
• We don't email you marketing unless you check the box asking for updates.

Services we rely on

The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Mock interview booking is provided by Cal.com, and fonts are loaded from Google Fonts. These providers process basic technical information (like your IP address) to deliver their services, under their own privacy policies.

Your choices

You can clear your profile at any time from the profile window, and delete conversations from your AI Career Coach history. To ask us to delete anything you've sent through a form, contact us.
